June News!

Dear Parents,
June is here!  We learned so much in May.  We had a beautiful celebration for Mothers Day!  We hope you are enjoying your colorful vases the children made.  Thank you to our helping moms who did an awesome job on this project!

We learned the letters O,W,Y and Z.   Z was for zoo!  We had the Two by Two Petting Zoo come in to school.  They brought in an alligator, a snake, a turtle, a lizard and even a baby kangaroo to name a few.  Many parents had asked for their info- they do birthday parties!
Phone # (845) 677-3507 – email – info4twobytwo@optonline.net. It was great to see the children’s excitement about all of the animals.

We had our “Bug Week.”  We read books by Eric Carle and created lady bugs and fireflies. During our last week in May we talked about Memorial Day.  We worked on patterns by making our patriotic bracelets.  We each made an American flag and paraded around the playground.

June is a short month and we already have worked on our Father’s Day projects.  Our helper moms came through again!  Thank you for all of your hard work and creativity.  These projects came out absolutely beautiful!

June 15th is our last day of school and our class picnic.  There will be a sign up sheet at the front door.  We would like to thank all of you for a wonderful year!  Your children have grown so much!  You all should be so proud!

                                        All Our Love,
                             Miss Nancy and Miss Jackie
